The Pan Asian E-Commerce Alliance (PAA), an alliance for cross border trade facilitation in Asia, announced their newly joined associate member TradeWindow from New Zealand. The participation of TradeWindow marked a new milestone for PAA to extend its geographical coverage to the Oceania.

TradeWindow is a secure digital trade platform to accelerate global trade with the highest standards of integrity, intelligence and innovation. The platform provides a ‘single source of the truth’ for exporters and all other relevant parties in the global supply chain and is backed by blockchain to provide an unbreakable trail of trust. An enterprise grade solution designed to ISO9001 and ISO27001 standards; TradeWindow is accredited by the New Zealand government to issue Certificates of Origin and provides innovative and intelligent B2B and B2G solutions to leading exporters across Australasia.

“We’re excited to join PAA at a time when effective and efficient digital trade channels between Asia and Australasia are more important than ever. By joining the alliance, we can share our experience in the use of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) and tap the knowledge and extensive market reach of PAA’s members to really accelerate two-way trade,” says TradeWindow CEO AJ Smith.

TradeWindow platform offers modular applications to manage export operations including export documentation, compliance, risk management, track and trace, trade finance and international payments. Exporters can instantly share trusted data with permissioned supply chain participants such as freight forwarders, shipping lines, ports, government agencies, banks, insurance companies, and importers.

New Zealand is the origin country for high quality fruits, meat and dairy products. PAA welcomes Trade Window and looks forward to offering cross-continent paperless trading service to the trading and logistics community.
