APEC Public-Private Dialogue Advances Trade Facilitation and Supply Chain Connectivity Through E-Port Collaboration

Shanghai, China – 15 May 2026 — The APEC Public-Private Dialogue on Advancing Trade Facilitation and Supply Chain Connectivity through E-Port was successfully held in Shanghai on 15 May 2026, bringing together government representatives, industry leaders, and digital trade experts from across the Asia-Pacific region.


The symposium highlighted the growing importance of digital collaboration in building seamless, resilient, and efficient cross-border supply chains. Representatives from the PAA Digital Trade Alliance and several PAA member organizations were invited to present at the dialogue, sharing practical experiences and innovative initiatives in trade digitalization, cross-border data exchange, and supply chain facilitation.

The active participation of PAA members demonstrated the strong and longstanding collaboration between the Alliance and APEC economies in promoting trusted digital trade infrastructure. It also reaffirmed the full commitment of the PAA Digital Trade Alliance to advancing seamless cross-border supply chain connectivity through interoperable e-port and digital trade solutions.

Participants emphasized that closer public-private cooperation will continue to play a critical role in enhancing regional trade efficiency, transparency, and economic integration across the Asia-Pacific.
